Board of Directors

A panel of eminient Professionals and Esteemed Citizen constitute our Board of Directors presently comprising of:

 Shri Vijay Krishna Shunglu – Chairman – Mr. Shunglu is retired I.A.S. and was the former Comptroller and Auditor General, Government of India. He has more than four decades of experience as a government official with special expertise in finance and auditing.  He is associated with DSD since 2002.

 Shri Ravi Vira Gupta - Director –Mr. Gupta is Retired I.A.S. and served as a Secretary to the Government of India and Secretary Banking in the Ministry of Finance. He worked in various states and held key positions at various levels in Government.  Also served as a Deputy Governor of The Reserve Bank of India.   Associated with DSD since 1998.

 Shri P C Sen - Director – Mr. Sen is retired I.A.S. He served as Secretary to the Govt. of India and Secretary General of the National Human Rights Commission.  During the course of his career in the IAS, he headed Indian Airlines and Air India, among other organisations. After retirement he was appointed Director, India International Centre and is presently on the Boards of a number of Trusts and associated with DSD since 2007.

 Smt. Sarvjeet Seth - Director – Mrs. Seth is associated with DSD since 2007.  She is Trustee of Ahvaan Trust working for the better education of Teachers and students and has great passion for education.

 Shri Vijay Kumar Gupta - Managing Director / CEO – Mr. Gupta is Associated with DSD since 1974.  He has more than 50 years of experience in finance and various functions.  He is known as a leader with track record in effectively turning around and growing businesse of the DSD.  He is known for his sharp business leadership skills and for the importance he places on Winning Confidence and Trust of DSD large clientele.

 Smt. Kshama V Kaushik – Director – Smt Kaushik has joined the Company in February, 2022. She is the founding co-Director of Thought Arbitrage Research Institute(NGO). She is an expert in corporate governance and holding current directorship in 3 Active Private or Public Limited Companies (Excluding LLPs). She is a member of ICAI.

 Ms Kavita Kalwaney - Executive Director, who has been with the company since 1981, has been appointed as Executive Director in addition to her present position as the Chief Financial Officer. With over 43 years of experience, her long-standing association and deep understanding of the companys operations make her an invaluable asset in leading the organization towards continued success. Her appointment reflects the companys confidence in her leadership and strategic capabilities.
